I am glad Holland has an Indian restaurant again. I heard about Chalo from an acquaintance, and I stopped by for a quick lunch. Service is quick, and the interior is quite clean and modern. I got the two item combo, and the two vegetarian dishes I got, I think the chana masala and the saag veg curry, were decent. Food quality seemed high, but it was a bit blander than I had hoped. I don’t think I was asked about spice level, so maybe that had something to do with it. I’ll have to give them another try to see if they’re always on the mild side, but it’s still a good addition to the Holland food scene.

An Indian restaurant in Holland - What a dream come true! The flavors and fantastic menu make it easy to overlook the price to food portion ratio. The tandoori chicken, naan garlic bread, and paneers are personal favorites. Give it a try. Places like this need your support.

Excellent food, friendly service, it's take away, so not much atmosphere really. Clean inside. We had the Butter Chicken and Lamb Tikka Masala. Both were very very good. Just a bit spicy, excellent flavor. We'll definitely be back!

Not the worst but definitely not the best. I had the kadai chicken curry, which was supposed to be spicy…not even close. Plus the side salad was vegetables which tasted a little underdone. This being said, I will return and give it another try because Holland needs an Indian restaurant.

I saw this place just opened up and wanted to try it. They have a 1 or 2 curry meal which makes it easy to try a few things. I selected the butter chicken and chicken saag as my 2 proteins. 65 cauliflower and rice to accompany the main entrees. I ordered a separate order of buttered Naan and a Mango Lassi. Overall the taste of everything was very good. The chicken dishes could have been a little spicier and warmer temperature. I really enjoyed the cauliflower. I will probably go back and try some other dishes next time I am back in Holland.

Absolutely lovely owner. He answered all my questions and helped me find something I would like, seeing how it was only my second time ever eating Indian food. It was absolutely delicious and portion sizes were perfect. Pricing is very fair. 10/10 recommend this place! Thank you, Raj for all your help! (Sorry if I misspell your name)

Wow! Delicious Indian food at a great price. The 1 curry combo includes salad, appetizer, and rice or naan. We got both sides and it was excellent. Will definitely return soon.

Butter chicken and saag chicken were our favorites. Lamb was tender, and kadai chicken had more spice flavor. Butter chicken and saag were probably most creamy of the dishes. All dishes have a kick to them, so I don't suggest if you're not into spicy food. Naan is great! Good flavor and soft texture. Even their steamed rice was good and pairs well with the entrees. The flavored rice was delicious. Hard to explain but very good. The chicken samosa is like an indian egg roll. Flaky outside and soft paste inside. Def a must try spot!
